Dugges Meet the Brewer

Thurs 15th November, Doors 7.30pm. Finishes 10.30pm

Ahead of their appearance at Dark City beer festival Sweden’s flavour specialists Dugges are heading over to Sheffield for Hop Hideout’s last meet the brewer of the year.

Mikael Dugge Engstrom (CEO and Brew Master) founded Dugges Bryggeri in 2005 and they’ve been brewing big decadent imperial stouts, juicy IPAs and kettle-sour soothers ever since. By 2009 they’d hit capacity (1500HL) and began to look for a bigger site. After a year of searching, planning and building they moved across the forest from Mölndal, to Landvetter in Härryda municipality. We’ve been excited about them since we opened in 2013 and they were one of our first draught pours when we moved to 448 Abbeydale Road and installed our tap lines. We always look forward to drinking their beer each year at Mikkeller Beer Celebration too (the Omnipollo x Dugges Passion Fruit Cheese Cake Sour was one of our Favs in 2018!). So it’s a real honour to host them in our little beer hideout.

We’ll be pouring 7 taps of Dugges beers and will release the list on the Facebook event page. Limited number of tickets, be quick! £12 for 5 x thirds beer.
